Backend Software Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Backend Software Engineer to support our client’s engineering team in Geneva. You’ll help design and deliver backend systems that are critical to product performance and user experience. If you're passionate about backend architecture and scalability, this could be a great match.

What You’ll Do

• Develop backend components and services with performance and scalability in mind

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate business logic and data layers

• Maintain and enhance APIs and internal services

• Ensure application security and code quality through best practices

• Contribute to deployment and CI/CD processes

What You Bring

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

• 3–7 years of experience in backend development (Java, Python, .NET, or Node.js)

• Strong understanding of database systems and backend frameworks

• Experience with containerization, cloud environments, and CI/CD tools

• Fluency in English and French
